My Artistic Approach

For nearly twenty years, my photography has grown out of travel and encounters. A moment of dialogue, listening and cross-cultural exchange often allows someone to open up, share a story, a legend or a personal moment. These shared experiences inspire and nourish my vision. I then photograph on location, throughout the hours and changing light, seeking to capture an image , an emotion, a presence.

From South Africa to Laos , from China to Croatia, each place thus becomes an ancounter and a story. After two major figurative series, four years ago I chose to fully explore abstraction.

My photographs then become spaces of freedom, where colors, light and movement invite each viewer to create their own imaginary world.

Today, my serie « Chromatic Fields » is exhibited in London, Amsterdam, Paris-notably at the Grand Palais- as well as Athens and Osaka.

I am particulary drawn to themes connected with life and nature : vegetation, the waters of Laos, landscapes and their « Granite Watchers », as well as the musicality of Adriatic lanscapes.

Each artwork is printed and limited to 5 numbered editions, produced in Parisian laboratory.

My photography is thus a passage from real-life encounters to emotion and from emotion to imagination.
